The Kattegat model has been set up with several different computational meshes. The coarsest is shown to the right. All setups are forced by 3D hydrodynamic output from the Hiromb-BOOS Model (HBM). Some setups implements pelagic and sediment models and have been used to study the effects of top-down versus bottom-up forcings on the food chain. Others have been used for passive tracer studies from potential aquaculture facilities.
